Jul 7- Arrive Buenos Aires
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore Buenos Aires - a complex, energetic, and seductive port city.

Jul 8 - Buenos Aires City Tour
Today your guided tour includes a stop at the Plaza de Mayo. You will see the balcony where Eva Peron and her husband used to address the crowds below. Next, see the Cabildo (town hall), a fascinating old colonial building fronted by arches that once encircled the plaza, back during the May Revolution in 1810. The interior houses a small museum, which displays some interesting architectural relics, religious icons and watercolor paintings by Enrique Pellegrini. You will also visit the other important buildings around the Plaza de Mayo including the Neoclassical Catedral Metropolitan, which houses the tomb of General Jose de San Martin, the revered hero who liberated Argentina from the Spanish. Later, proceed to La Boca, where an assortment of brightly painted low houses made of wood and metal line the streets. This evening, enjoy dinner at one of Buenos Aires’ excellent restaurants. No visit to Argentina is complete without attending a performance of the tango – perhaps the best expression of that spirit - a dance of intimate separation and common rhythm, combining both an elegant reserve and an exuberant passion. Jul 9 - Buenos Aires
Today is free to pursue independent activity. You may take a fullday optional trip to Montevideo or a full-day tour to Colonia del Sacramento, or just relax and enjoy the bustling streets, grand avenues, old-time cafes and stylish restaurants of Buenos Aires. (B)

Jul 10 - Buenos Aires / El Calafate
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate, the gateway to the majestic world of glaciers, near Lake Argentino.

Jul 11 - Perito Morena Glacier & Eclipse viewing
This morning we depart on the most spectacular and unforgettable excursion in all Patagonia. We skirt Bay Redonda of Lake Argentino as well as have the chance to see Isla Solitaire. Travel through the Patagonia valley with its natural environment of species such as guanacos, ostriches, and foxes, before we cross the Mitre River and enter National Park Los Glaciares. At Curva de Los Suspiros you will get the first panoramic view of Glacier Perito Moreno. An ice cloak, or glacial cap, covers this Protected Area of 600,000 hectares. Among the 356 glaciers, the Perito Moreno is the most outstanding one. Return to our hotel to prepare for the evening Eclipse viewing.
